This was our second order with Smart Wings! We love that our Roman shade and drapery match! Other local companies wanted to charge us $5300 and their shades were not automated. We only paid $2700 for our order and that included (3) remotes, 3 wall switches, one Roman shade, one drapery and four cellular shades. Incredible! I would 100% recommend SmartWings! Their customer service was great before the sale, after we placed our order and during installation when we were putting up the window coverings!

SmartWings Motorized Linen Curtains — three windows, wall-mounted, Matter over Thread Ordered three: two 250 cm windows on spliced rods, one 110 cm window on a single-piece rod. Ivory linen, 100% blackout lining, AC-powered WK40T/M Matter over Thread motors, black rod with end cap finials. Ordered the first as a pilot, lived with it for three weeks, then ordered the other two. That's the right way to buy these and I'd recommend it. The product is good. Made-to-measure was accurate — height was right first time on all three, the fabric and lining are what was described, and the finished look is the thing that sold my wife on it. The AC motor is genuinely mains-powered (it reports a battery level in HomeKit, which is a firmware quirk, not a battery). Matter over Thread works directly with Apple Home with no vendor hub, which was the whole point. Noise is moderate: fine when everyone's awake, not something I'd run while someone's asleep. We schedule around it. Installation is substantial. Roughly ten hours across the three units, and most of that is real work: setting wall brackets level across 2.5 m, aligning the rod so the carriers don't bind, hanging heavy lined panels. Budget a full day for two large windows, not an afternoon. One step in the splice procedure needs a warning box. On rods over 2.5 m, the two halves of the master carrier have to be joined with an M-shaped clip (Step 3 of Rod Splicing). Miss it and the track locks solid — the belt has slack but won't circulate, the motor drives a few centimetres and faults. It cost me a couple of hours and two motors driven into stall before I found it. The manual gives it the same weight as every other step. It deserves bold type and "do the sliding check before you mount the rod." The motor button needs a documented map. Holding the programming button does different things at different durations. First flash is remote pairing, second is Matter pairing, and a long hold is a silent factory reset that wipes limits, direction, and HomeKit pairing. None of that is on one page. I found it by trial and error, which is how I reset two working motors. I didn't call support — this was a Saturday evening and they close at 7 CST — so I can't speak to that. Would I buy again? Yes. I'd order the same product, and I'd either book their installation service for the spliced rods or go in knowing it's a day's carpentry and read the splice section twice.
