Honestly, this controller fixed all of the issues I've had for the past year and solves most of my complaints. The control app give you critical features that Alexa doesn't: individual motor battery percentages as well as signal bars, and a slider for precise 1-100% control. The pairing with the Alexa + has made a massive difference in usability too. The control app is still about a B+ due to various bugs occurring when adding motors, but hopefully smartwings will work with the developer and get that worked out.
End of the day this controller really has paid for itself in the headaches it solves
The shades work great and are relatively easy to install. I was skeptical at first but they work perfectly and my wife is happy at how they turned out. I really like the Connector app. It is so easy to control the shades for opening times to reduce UV and glare and provide privacy.
This simplified our automation process dramatically. We purchased the zigbee motor for all of our shades, and initially didn’t purchase this hub. After running into some trouble, we circled back and bought it. Install was beyond easy and the shades run perfectly every day on their schedule. We also added them to our Apple ecosystem. We built Home Screen buttons through the Shortcuts app, and unique commands for Siri, which all run perfectly every time whether we ask our phones or watches to run them.
Device was quick and easy to set up. I have 18 of the basic radio controlled motor blinds and they all were able to connect to the central hub. The hub and app add a lot of new functionality and allow me to see battery levels now. Very happy with this purchase.
For me so much better than zigbee Amazon echo studio, After fussing with dozens of zigbee issues hs this up and running for 9 blinds in a half hour. Low frequency 95ft through 2 walls
Works good... now. I had to call the help line then had it running in 5 minutes. Do it the easy way, call them first. I had spent 4 hours pulling my hair out trying to get it connected on my own. The help line also guided me how to link it to my tablet... Samsung SmartThings. That allows me to program my six honeycomb shades to independently open or close at any fixed time. Or...certain time before or after, sunrise or sunset.
Works great. The only thing that didn't work is adding it via the remote, but I was able to sync it via the motor. The app is great and I love that it controls all our blinds on schedule. I would reccomend these blinds and control box to others.
The Levitate SmartWings shades with the Smart Link Pro hub performed as promised. I especially like that the motor batteries are rechargeable. Even more importantly, the sales and support staff were awesome. Not only did they help me select the correct shade for my needs, they also helped me in a timely manner with the programing when I ran into an issue setting up daily routines. Thank you SmartWings. We did the whole house at one time. 20+ shades. They were very easy to install. Connecting them to the smart hub and then to ALEXA was very easy. During the install i did have a couple of questions so i called the company. Got a person, they explained how to resolve and it worked.
I also found that it is worth a call before ordering to determine the proper motor choice for my setup.
I was shocked how quickly they arrived as well.

The home automation piece of using these smart blinds (I have roller shades) make this great experience a 10+. Love the blinds. Love the automation (just recently add) and have had these shades for 2 years now. We recharge them every few months but now with automation it shows if they need charging. This company is a 10+.
Works as expected. I scanned the QR code to get the app, used the simple one page instructions to activate it and was up and running fairly quickly. No complaints.
This was an excellent choice to integrate my Smartwings blinds into my Control 4 smart home. Setup was easy and I am very pleased with how everything works.
I purchased the hub from SmartWings to make sure I had the correct hub. It was comparable in price to other units available. I received the unit within days. It only took a few minutes to set it up and a few minutes more to add all 14 shades to their program and link it to Alexa. I have been using my shades on a daily basis and have had no problems at all.
I read all the manuals and googled around, but couldn't figure out the magic options to add the blinds to the app so Alexa could see it. Chat was very helpful and figured it out right away. But would be better if it was in the doc. There are too many options to try each one.
I added the smart link hub to control my shade through the app. The setup process is easy. The app walks you through the process if you are going wireless or hardwire to your network switch. I would advise to hook it up to your network switch so the process will go faster. Adding the zigbee motors was easy as all I did was push the button on the motor to identify. Once the shades are setup in the app, you can add the shades into a control system. SmartWings emailed me my Control4 driver so I can control it through my control system. Very happy with the integration.
This is a Great product, using scence options I can schedule when blinds will open and close, I can forget aboit that task at all, and focus on something else.
