We wish we would've bought these blinds a long time ago!
We have a window above and electric fireplace insert that doubles as a large plant shelf. This window also faces the West and in the evening the sun would always shine on our TV.
Now we can shut the blinds hands free via Google Home mini.
Installation was pretty straightforward.
I did have some issues with pairing the Z-wave motor to my SmartThings hub as the instructions made it sound like you could either press the button on the remote or on the motor.
For reference, you have to push the button on the motor.
The only other thing is I wish the fabric went over a bit farther. The side gaps are larger than I expected. If I had known the gaps were going to be so large I most likely would have ordered the light blockers as well.
Instead, I went to Menards and picked up an 8' piece of vinyl slatwall cap moulding and cut it to fit. It works to minimize the bleed through from the side gaps but the white moulding seems to be translucent and does not completely block the light, but it works well enough for me.
Overall, we're pretty happy with these blinds so far.
