Overall, the shades worked out pretty well. Installation was simple. The instructions for setting up the remote access were a bit disjointed. The main reason for the 4 stars is that the LED blinks when a Zigbee command is received; that is very distracting in a bedroom in the morning. The charging indicator can be disabled, but not the command blink. I fell back on the tried and true black tape to cure the issue.

We like our shades but the two 19 inch shades posed special challenges. The battery pack did not fit inside the header but was a separate item with no instructions on what to do with it. It has caused our two shades to stick out further than the others. In order to charge the battery or push reset, those shades have to be removed because the port is inside the unit instead of having an access panel like the wider ones. ALSO, the Zigbee system we purchased especially for the shades has been problemmatic, especially for the 19 inch shades.
