Absolutely loooove these!! Sorry for the extra kitchen sink accessories in the picture but we are a real life family with real life dishes LOL!! Yall, these were soooo easy to install. The packaging was secure and boxed very well so absolutely no damage was made during shipping. It's cat friendly too! We can raise the blind to whatever level we wish so that she can perch up there and bird watch. And we love that we can snap the remote right on the side of the window because if it goes in my storage drawer in the kitchen, it will never be found again! LOL!! I love these so much and we've already decided we want these for our living room.

However the left blind looses connectivity after 1 day of use. This requires me to reset it in the app and reschedule all of my routines. The hub is 20ft line of sight to both of these blinds.

Overall very happy with my purchase. The Plantation shutters in my bedroom let in too much light. The blackout essential motorized shades with the matter over thread motor work very well. At night the room is pitch black. I still get some bleed thru light in the direct sunlight, even though they are behind the plantation shutters and I installed the blackout side tracks as well. Happy enough that I purchased additional shades for my family room as well. Not installed yet. Waiting for delivery.

The fabric for both the light filtering and the blackout look exactly the same when comparing. The blackout shade blocks 100% of light at night and all except the side cracks in the day. The light filtering shade is beautiful in the day and barely lets any light in at night. I had some major issues setting up zigbee with my Alexa, but after I bought a separate hub it’s been working great. I set all the shades to open at sunrise and close at sunset. These were my test shades and now I plan to buy for the entire house.

We love the blind. A word to the wise, as a 85 year old man I wasn’t careful during the order process. I wanted a side mound and received an inside mound. I should have caught that before submitting the order. The blind was 3/16 inch longer than we ordered so to reorder I would have to pay 50% for another blind. My son who good at carpentry carved out the Jam to make it fit. Looks really nice and works well.

We needed this for a tall, staircase window. I highly recommend the solar option. Our window is not near an outlet, but I also wouldn’t have wanted a big cord hanging down or replacing batteries all the time. The solar panel is hidden so it works perfectly! This is the exact solution we needed to block morning light and not have to close our bedroom door. The remote is also awesome and the blind itself looks great and is high quality.

It was very easy to set up and connect to Home Assistant. I exposed it to Google Home and that works perfectly.
The ZigBee version seems to have a problem (in Home Assistant) that the open/close status seems to be reversed. When using the blinds with Google however, the open/close status is correct!
I was happy with the online support, the person I was talking with was very helpful, and passed on to the production team that the odd shape (wide & short) would be OK with the ZigBee motor.
