I have 4 other SmartWings blinds. All are 5 star. The only reason I give this 4 is the install of the fabric blinds was no where near as easy as the roller type blinds. In the fabric type blinds, you have to thread a wingnut into a screw. Normally no big deal, except when all the screws are right next to the thread rollers that pull up the blind fabric. Very difficult for one person operation.

Beautiful blinds that worked out of the box. The fabric matched the swatch that we ordered and even with overseas shipping it was faster then ordering through lowes/homedepot. If the pricing was a bit lower, I would have these smartwings all around my house. Until things get more affordable, Ill brag about the blinds I bought for my master bedroom.

I loved the Roman Shades, they work so well, I include them on my home automatization and they close at dawn and open in the morning, making my day even better, I was gifted with 2 of them, I choose the option with the control, the solar panel and also have the connection with alexa. They were so easy to install, and the blackout is amazing, it really makes the room dark, what is great for bedrooms.

We ordered a sample blind first to evaluate the company and quality of the product. We ordered a small blind, battery operated Roman shade style, for our bathroom. We were very pleased with the quality of the blind, so we ordered 6-12v 100% Blackout Roman shades. Purchase was easy (expensive), delivery was on time, instructions suck!, installation was easy (I'm handy), operations were Ok, using the remote. We still have to pair them with Alexa. Fabric is awesome! The only thing we don't like is the height of the first pleat. It cover 1/3 of the top of the window. See the picture. Overall experience was a B+. We are ordering 7 more shades from this company in the near future!

I got the linen roman shade in the color Khaki with the solar power feature and I am in love. I do not have to worry about charging anything. The shade goes up smooth and beautiful and was very easy to install.

Obviously it’s a custom size but the blinds arrived within a couple weeks of ordering which is shockingly good. Quality very good, and I’m happy with how silent the motors are. We are thrilled at how easy it is to use. We integrated it into our Apple Home so managing the blinds is a breeze. We will be doing the rest of our house with these blinds!

Fantastic automated roman shades. I bought the Smartthings Zwave version. Super easy to install with clear instructions. I had some initial challenges with the Z wave pairing because I did not understand how their driver integration works. But I received extremely prompt customer service to explain - they are likely going to update their FAQs to reflect our interactions for future customers. But once that was cleared up, it was super easy to use either the included remotes or Smartthings routines to automate. Ended up adding wall mount zwave switches too for a clean easy manual operation if desired (Zooz wireless wall switches), which were great. But shortly after, Smartwings released their switch and it is even better. So I swapped it in. Just love the system, excellent quality and battery life. Going to order more for other rooms in our home now. Beautiful. And Smart!!!

For longer windows where the shade has three points of contact with the wall, the installation wasn’t quite as simple as with narrower windows (with only two points of contact) and required two people to complete the job, but once installed the shade has been great so far. The 70% blackout lets in just the right amount of light while still retaining total privacy.
