FAQs

Measuring for motorized drapery or window drapery systems is simple.

Measure the exact width of the window or opening where the drapery track or rod will be installed, and order the same width with no deductions. For height, measure from your desired top mounting position (ceiling or wall) down to where you want the drapery to end.

A small deduction will typically be made during production to ensure the custom drapery panels hang properly without dragging on the floor.

Installing motorized drapery systems involves several straightforward steps.

First, attach the mounting brackets for either a wall mount or ceiling track drapery system. Next, install the motorized drapery track or traverse drapery rod, connect the motor, and mount the drapery panels. If selected, a valance or decorative rod can be added for a finished look.

With proper installation, your motorized window drapery will operate smoothly and provide convenient light control.

Yes. You can purchase the motorized rod kit separately and use your own fabric, or order a complete set including the rod and fabric (sheer, or blackout).

Dual drapery combines two layers of window drapery in one system.

Typically, the design includes a sheer inner drapery layer and a blackout outer drapery panel. This setup allows you to adjust natural light during the day with sheer draperies, while using the blackout layer for privacy and room darkening.

Dual-layer systems are especially popular for bedroom draperies, living rooms, and large windows, offering flexible light control with an elegant layered look.

Drapery systems are available in 12V DC and 110–220V AC motor options, providing continuous and reliable power.

We offer two rod kit styles: a standard motorized drapery track and a decorative curtain rod available in multiple finishes and finial designs to match different interiors.
